The Blarney Stone magic - kissed, Blair brings the gift of eloquence and flattery, widely considered to be luck in love. 
Height modification - like any other leprechaun, Blair is naturally about three feet (~90 cm) tall. He can, however, grow to a normal human's height to blend in. This ability is, however, strictly limited to those two heights, nothing in between, nothing less and nothing more.

 Getting magically tied to Blarney Stone so tightly so he can't move anywhere away from it anymore.
 Having his family members hurt or killed, or leave him alone.
 His uncle Brian. Kinda. Sometimes.
 Nóriel. How can someone so tiny be SO scary?

Strengths:
 Some call it "idiot". He calls it "Prince Charming".
 Although he may not show it excessively, he's an intelligent beast. The stupid don't choose medicine.
 He's very musical; plays the violin (his Jolene), has a nice singing voice and reeles like a boss (Michael Flatley style).
 Confirmed to look fab in a kilt.

Weaknesses:
 His magic is tightly connected with what he does for a living; the farther Blair goes, the more of his magic is needed to keep Blarney work from the distance. This rule is beyond his province and if he tries to drain too much magic from that connection, it causes him dizziness, vomiting, passing out or in extreme cases, internal wounds.
 Cigs. He so knows he should quit. And yet, he so can't.
 Fails at assessing danger. 

Goals: Perhaps finding a way to loosen his bond with Blarney Stone. Or becoming stronger so that it stops bothering him.

Personality: Blair is this guy you either love or can't stand around you. Perhaps a mixture of both. He's constantly gleeful, optimistic and in need of some action in his life - be it an exciting adventure or a beer or two drunk with a nice company. Family and friends are most important to him; he easily feels attached to people and is extremely loyal - to the point where he still is there for you even though you keep hurting him. Actually, he would probably find a justifying argument for your actions anyway, even if it makes no sense. It doesn't, however, mean that he can't be hurt.
Positive, hopeful. Believes in people and always looks at their good side first. Loves engaging in physical contact, but at the same time, highly values his personal space and hates to have it excessively invaded. Yes, still a hypocrite.

History: Born at the dawn of 14th century in Cork, Ireland; having never met his parents, who died shortly after his birth, he was raised by his paternal uncle Brian Finnigan and Brian's fairy mistress, Lavia - and that's all the family he actually needed in his youth. He had a happy childhood, very peaceful and playful... And that was a perfect base for him to grow into a bad boy. Mwahahaha.

Once he became a fully grown and educated leprechaun, he joined the guard in an elvish court. One inappropriate romance, a couple of fights and endless cases of being found drunk later, they kicked him out. Eventually, he was offered a job he naively accepted: he was supposed to become a guardian of a newly acknowledged magical artifact, later known as Blarney Stone. He hadn't, however, predicted, what it would mean. Suddenly, all the magic he posessed became mutually dependant on the Stone, and overusing it led to serious health problems. Long story short, he regrets making the decision ever since. His later history is rather blurry and the hints of it should be looked for in the history of Blarney Castle, and later - Blarney House; rumors say he served in IRA during the Irish War of Independence in 1919-21, although he remains silent about that and there are no documents to prove it whatsoever. Most of his time though, he spent fulfilling the love-hated responsibilities he got, driving each next owner of the Blarney Castle crazy, goofing around and being generally useless to the world - still and still dreaming of more, wanting to see more, craving for more adventures! (At some point, he seriously considered a pirate career). Longing to leave and explore the world, he kept deepening his knowledge about it, in many various fields - from physics to arts and crafts; his biggest interest being medicine - genetics and experimental medicine in particular.

And then, he heard of Otherworlde - a school a friend of his attended...

Misc. Information:
 Because of the fire sometime in 1800s that destroyed the Blarney House, Blair has burn scars on the left side of his body, his chest, back and arm in particular.
 His violin's name is Jolene. Yes, she has a name. Yes, she's a she.
 He swears Blarney Stone has its own soul. And it's a mean bastard.
 He owns a Claddagh ring that is currently set on "single" position.
  During his first year, in the woods, he met a host of fairies. They are now following him wherever he goes - either by flying after him or settling somewhere in his hair, on the hat or in pockets. There's about 20-30 of them, but he never managed to count them; apparently, the command "stay still" is beyond their understanding.
